Visma has acquired European Business Process Institute (EBPI), a specialist in qualified information chains in the Netherlands. EBPI will go under the name Visma Connect, strengthening Visma's position in governmental and financial services in the Dutch market.
EBPI is a dynamic and fast-growing IT organisation with over 250 employees. The services provided by the company focus not only on qualified information exchange but also on blockchain, data science and payment services.
Their solutions ensure secure, fast and reliable messaging and efficient payment transactions for both the public and private business community including municipalities and central government agencies. The company will change its name to Visma Connect and become part of Visma's Custom Solutions division.
"We are very pleased that EBPI now becomes Visma Connect. The new name connects them to the Visma brand and we believe they will be a huge contributor to our success in the Dutch market," says Carsten Boje Møller, Division Director in Visma Custom Solutions.
"Visma is one of Europe's fastest growing software companies. Being integrated with Visma from the start will make us a stronger player in the market. EBPI will also benefit from Visma's strong customer base and expertise, providing our customers with a wider range of services," said Coen Egberink, CEO of EBPI.
"We work with some of the most demanding customers in the Netherlands, delivering business critical systems. Being part of Visma, we step up to a new level in the eyes of our customers," Egberink continued.
